DESKPERSON PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Updated October 1, 2026

DeskPerson is operated by Corey Mack. This policy explains the information handled through DeskPerson’s website, account services, and planned transactional text messaging. The public voice demo uses a fictional business. SMS enrollment and sending are not active on this website.

Website inquiries

When you submit the contact or demo-request form, DeskPerson stores the name, work email, business, industry, and message you supply in protected hosting storage outside the public website. We use these details to respond and arrange requested follow-up. A receipt confirms the request was stored; it does not book an appointment. An email notification may also be sent to our team. You can contact us by email instead.

Contacting us, requesting a demo, providing a phone number in an email, or trying the voice demo does not enroll you in SMS. Please do not include customer records, passwords, payment details, or account keys in an inquiry.

Fictional voice demo

Microphone access is requested after you choose to start a call. Retell and its voice infrastructure providers process your conversation audio and connection information to operate the AI conversation. Technical call information, such as timing, duration, and connection status, may be retained by the provider. Please use fictional details and do not provide sensitive information.

The demo does not create a service request for a real business, book an appointment, transfer you to staff, or send a text. It is separate from customer business connections. Ending the call stops the microphone connection; it is not a request to delete provider records.

Account and business information

When an account is used, DeskPerson handles account identifiers, email addresses, business membership and settings, and operational records needed to provide access, support the service, and protect it from misuse. Access is limited according to the account’s permissions. Information supplied through the public contact form does not create an account.

Caller records controlled by a service business

For a business using DeskPerson, that business determines its intake questions, approved call handling, and permitted use of caller information. Depending on its configuration, records can include caller contact details, service addresses, requests, transcripts, summaries, call outcomes, and recordings where enabled. DeskPerson processes these records under the business’s instructions and applicable service arrangements.

That business is responsible for its customer-facing notices and permissions, including any recording and messaging consent. Contact the business about its caller records or service request. DeskPerson can assist the business with appropriate access, correction, or deletion requests. A business’s customer data is not permission to market for DeskPerson or for another business.

Mobile information and SMS consent

DeskPerson does not sell, rent, or share mobile information, phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent is specific to the sender and program the person chose; it is not transferred to another business or used to enroll someone in another program.

Service providers that help operate an authorized messaging program may process only the information needed to deliver messages, maintain consent and opt-out records, or provide support, under instructions and restrictions on their use. This limited processing does not authorize their own marketing. General information-sharing descriptions in this policy do not permit the sale or marketing use of SMS opt-in data or consent.

Our planned program is described in the SMS Program Terms. No SMS opt-in is collected by this website’s current contact or demo forms.

Service providers and technical information

GoDaddy hosts this website and may collect routine device, connection, and traffic information, including through a script it adds to hosted pages. Retell operates the voice demo. Providers supporting email, authentication, storage, and connected business services process information needed for those functions. DeskPerson does not add separate advertising trackers to this public website. We count website visits, demo interactions, and received inquiries by page and broad referral channel. Analytics counts contain no inquiry text, email addresses, transcripts, or full referring URLs. Optional interaction counts honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. A session-only browser record preserves the first landing page and broad referral channel for your inquiry; it clears when the session ends. The form also includes an optional “How did you hear about us?” choice. Abuse prevention uses a keyed hash of the connection address in short-lived rate counters; our hosting provider may retain its own access logs.

We use information to provide requested services, respond to support, troubleshoot failures, maintain security, and meet applicable obligations. Information may be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect rights and prevent misuse. Those uses do not make SMS consent available for another party’s marketing.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained as needed for the relevant service, support, security, and applicable obligations. Business-controlled records also depend on the business’s configuration and service arrangements; provider records may follow the provider’s applicable settings. We do not promise one universal retention period or immediate deletion of every provider record.

For a privacy question or a request concerning information you supplied directly to DeskPerson, email hello@deskperson.com. We may need to verify the request and clarify which records it concerns. For caller data collected for a service business, contact that business first. You can decline microphone access or end a demo call at any time.

Policy updates
